  Amazing room, lovely, bright and clean. Friendly approachable and genuinely help full staff helped make it a relaxing stay. Amazing locally sourced food in the restaurant (great wine too :-) ). The restaurant/bar has a real homely, front room feel to it. Lovely! Wonderful breakfast with loads of interesting nibbles and bits. My only negative from a night here was the sound of the hot water pipes! I have never heard such a racquet as when the guy next door put on the hot tap for a shower at half 10 in the evening! Even so, had a lovely and crucially relaxing time. Exactly what I had hoped for!

  Having previously stayed at the Gallivant twice I would consider myself a loyal customer and have always recommended it. However, I've been trying to make a group booking for 13 people for two nights half board (at a cost of £2500!). Over one week, I've tried calling 10 times and no one has picked up and only twice got an answerphone. No one has bothered to answer the messages on the answerphone. I've emailed twice and no response. I then FB messaged them to see if they were still in business to which someone did reply apologising. They called me, discussed rated an availability and asked me contact them if I had any further questions. I did reply with further questions and no response. We'll take our £2500 elsewhere and good bye loyal customer.

  A great little hotel, clean rooms and beautiful decor throughout with beach hut charm. The food was spectacular too with some of the best desserts I've ever tried. A great weekend escape from the city
